Playground Turf
The most important part of a playground is what's underneath it; a child's safety depends on the right surfacing. With proper in-fill, it will provide a measure of safety and beauty unsurpassed by other surfaces.
Our playground turf features a unique blend of polyethylene monofilament fibers and thatch layer that simulates a fine blade fescue or blue grass. This combination of fibers gives the turf its very soft, rich carpet like feel.
Play Ground Turf:
• Serves as a more sanitary surface than sand, pea gravel, mulch, & shredded tires. The system is completely anti-microbial & not subject to bacteria build up.
• Is available to meet IPEMA’S ASTM F1292 requirements for up to 12 foot critical head fall.
• Eliminates allergic reactions caused by grass.
• Eliminates the need to mow and trim underneath playground equipment.
• Dries very quickly allowing children to begin playing again almost immediately after a rain. (Consistent Gmax and HIC safety ratings)
