Certified Segmented Retaining Wall Installer
We are trained in the design and installation of segmented retaining wall systems by the National Concrete and Masonry Association (NCMA). We currently have 2 certified SRW installers employed with Southern Exposure. Let us help you select the material that best suits your lifestyle and tastes.
Segmented or segmental retain walls (SRWs) are gravity structures — they depend on the weight of the block, not on mortar, to maintain their integrity and stability. These dry stacked blocks are used for large and often angled or sloping retaining walls and also for landscape elements where there is little soil pressure behind them — around trees and plantings, rising no more than one or two courses tall.

Certified Interlocking Paver Installer
We are trained in the design and installation of interlocking pavers by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). We currently have 1 certified ICPI installer employed with Southern Exposure. This certification provides the homeowner and builder assurance that their project are designed and installed properly. There are many companies that say they can install a patio, driveway, or walkway, but without this certification there is no way to regulate the industry and quality. This industry in particular is prone to sacrifice quality by cutting corners This certification covers: concrete pavements, permeable interlocking concrete pavers (driveways, patios, walkways), grid pavers, brick pavers (driveways, patios, walkways), and concrete paving slabs. NC Grounds Pesticide Applicator
Southern Exposure Landscape Management is dedicated to keeping its employees and clients as up to date in our industry as possible, including all required and optional certification. We currently have one NC Ground Pesticide Applicator technician, which is required by the state for spraying fungicides and weed control products.
